CeraZorb® Underlayment is ideal to use when installing our floor heating system on top of a concrete slab. CeraZorb® Thermal Underlayment reduces temperature below the heating system by 3 degrees and increases temperature above the heating system by 4-6 degrees, thereby reducing your electric bill and increasing the efficiency of the heating sytem. This synthetic cork underlayment not only offers excellent insualtion properties, it will not rot, support mold or mildew, or absorb moisture. It is very stable-heat and cold resistant, will remain unchanged after repeated impact loads, and has a 1.5 R value.
Use latex modified thinset to adhere CeraZorb to concrete subfloor.
